Lishan Oolong Tea

The tea cultivation region is located alongside Fushou Lishan farmland in Taiwan, adjacent to Dayuling. With an altitude of around 2,000 to 2,300 meters above sea level, it has a humid and cold climate of high grounds and short daylight. As the growing environment is unique, the tea leaves can only be harvested 3 times a year. Its natural endowment of a geographical location has enabled Lishan Oolong tea to own several exquisite flavors such as Orchid scent, mellow and sweet tea as well as strong transition from bitterness to sweetness in the after-taste.

Shanlinshi Oolong Tea

The tea cultivation region is in the deep mountains of Longfeng Gorge in Zhushan township of Nantou County. With an altitude of around 1,300 to 1,700 meters above sea level, it is engulfed in a cloudy climate with moderate rainfall all year round. The dense bamboo forest in the tea plantation is a crucial catalyst for Shanlinshi Oolong Tea to possess some of the rich qualities such as elegant fragrance, intermittent bamboo odor, refreshing and long-lasting scent as well as sustainable sweetness rejoicing in the throat.

As the climate is cold with relatively short daylight, the fresh green tea leaves of Alishan Jinxuan are rich and thick, while the color tone of its tea is pristine and yellowish. Besides having the natural milky fragrance and Osmanthus scent, its overall flavor is unique and intriguing, catapulting it to become one of the premium tea varieties in the Taiwanese tea culture.

Dongding Oolong Tea

The tea cultivation region is located in Lugu township of Nantou County in Taiwan. Its altitude is around 800 meters above sea level. Dongding Oolong Tea is the most iconic tea variety in Taiwan. The tea is brimming with golden tone and overwhelmed with rich fragrance. The rhythmic flavor in the throat is full and rich, while leaving a trail of sweetness and mellowness; notwithstanding a lightly sweet honey scent.

Roast Lishan Oolong Tea

After the collection of fresh green tea leaves, it requires to be charcoal roasted for 3 days to produce the young and tender tea leaves. After which it will be stored 1 year for post-fermentation and the tea roaster would roast them 3 times in 3 days until the tea leaves are purified. The layers of fragrances are unparalleled and it can be considered as a premium grade artisan tea.

Alishan Black Oolong Tea

The tea cultivation region is domiciled in the Camphor Tree Lake area in Alishan, Chiayi County of Taiwan. Its altitude is approximately more than 1,600 meters above sea level. Because of the growing environment, it has caused the reduction in the bitterness of the catechin in the fresh green tea leaves and the enhancement in the sweetness flavor. After the collection of fresh green tea leaves, it requires to be charcoal roasted for 3 days to produce the young and tender tea leaves. After which it will be stored 1 year for post-fermentation and the tea roaster would roast them 3 times in 3 days until the tea leaves are purified. The layers of fragrances are incomparably rich.

Authentic Alishan Tieguanyin Oolong Tea

The tea cultivation region is situated in Longmei area in Alishan, Chiayi County of Taiwan. Its altitude is approximately more than 1,200 meters above sea level. The making of Tieguanyin is complicated. It requires to use longan wood to charcoal roast for 3 days to produce the young and tender tea leaves. After which the tea roaster will further refine the tea-making process to bring out the fully ripe fruity scent, achieving the specialty of the “Goddess (Tieguanyin) Throat Rhythm”. On top of that, there is a flavor of richness in the mouth and a sense of sugary sweetness in the throat with concise clarity in the layers of notes.

Sun Moon Lake Black Tea

The tea cultivation region is domiciled in Sun Moon Lake of Nantou County in Taiwan. Its altitude is around 800 meters above sea level. Tracing its origins back to the Japanese Occupation period, the Japanese noticed that the soil condition in this area was similar to that of Assam in India. Eventually, they opened a trial farmland for black tea cultivation. After the war ended, they abandoned the land and it was thereafter taken over by the local farmers. And the tea trees planted in this area were categorized as old authentic black tea type. Its prominent features comprise of young and fresh tea leaves bitten by bugs with a sniff of sugary honey scent.
